Steve Davis
Director IT and Architecture A co-founder of Credit Risk Systems, Steve is the director of our Technology group and is responsible for the overall system architecture of BoundaryRider. He is in charge of overseeing all design, development, system implementation and customer support. He is in touch on a day-to-day level with the system developers and liaises on issues of database design, system architecture (tools, security, scalability, reliability), and API design (systems integration). Prior to Credit Risk, Steve was a project manager in the global implementation and roll-out of a new Market Risk system for Westpac Financial Markets. He was responsible for selecting and installing the system to measure market risk (or value at risk) on the bank’s trading portfolios. This system was completed with external approval from the Reserve Bank of Australia in October 1997 and was the first bank to achieve this distinction. Steve has over 18 years of hands on experience with Treasury Systems and an economics degree from Macquarie University complemented by post-graduate studies in Applied Finance. |
